Zoo Crococun
|

This is a rambling exhibit of local and exotic animals, very well maintained, with multi-lingual guides who really know their stuff.

This is a great place to take children and perfectly safe since most of the animals are in large pens and exhibits.

Everything is outside in the lush jungle. The tour consists of a walk down a winding jungle path as your guide talks about the animals and answers your questions.

Jardín Botánico

A few minutes south of Puerto Morelos exists a beautiful botanical garden where different exotic species of plants and flowers are displayed in the natural surroundings of the tropical rainforest.

Dr. Alfredo Barrera Marin Botanical Garden, in the Riviera Maya, is a truly extraordinary place to visit and learn about the particular fauna and flora living in the Yucatan peninsula.

Snorkeling

Several snorkel shops are located in the zocolo in the heart of town.
